Which call type is failing? PSTN. VoIP.
Is this affecting dial out to all PSTN numbers or Certain ones? (e.g. to a certain country or range). Certain range/ Country. All Numbers.
Please gather the call sample and log this to the carrier. .
Test the phone number from your own Skype, What was the outcome? It worked. It Failed.
The issue may be with the dial plan asociated to the end users Skype account. Please get the call sample and check on Ocom and raise with the carrier if necessary.
There is a problem with the phone number or possibly on our SBC. Please check on Ocom to see if the failure is on our end or on the carrier end. .
Have they made any recent network changes? As this could be linked to a firewall issue.. Yes. No.
Please make sure that they have all of the relevant ports open.
Please have the user provide us the call sample and the logs from the affected end user. .
